Worship Minister

Job Description

Part Time (10-15hrs/ week)

The Well Church Keller is seeking a soulful, dynamic and energetic worship leader with a heart for worship and diversity, and a strong sense of calling and identity in Christ. The worship leader will work closely with our lead pastor in cultivating worship services, and the worship team that helps to lead our congregation each week. The ideal candidate will possess an adaptable skill set and leadership capabilities. We are currently seeking a candidate that has a few years of worship leading experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Continue to grow and mature in Christ as a godly person of integrity. Demonstrate leadership in being able to disciple those in his/her sphere of influence.

- Provide leadership, vision, and passion for the worship ministry at The Well Church Keller that aligns with the overall vision, purpose, and mission of our church. Lead in creating and implementing diverse worship opportunities.

- Coordinate with Pastor Trey to create and lead an engaging Sunday morning worship services. This includes leading the Sunday Worship services, recruiting and developing a worship team, and scheduling vocalists and musicians. Knowledge of Planning Center application for scheduling is a plus.

- Prepare for and lead weekly rehearsals that serve the purpose to both prepare for Sunday service and cultivate deeper Christ-centered community within the Worship Team. Encouraging team members to lead and grow in their giftings through creative collaboration.

- Study and incorporate different worship styles and languages to align with the churches diverse mission.

- Proficiency in leading worship with a strong vocal ability. Capability of leading and with a guitar and/or keyboard is a plus, but not a requirement.

- Continually recruit and cultivate a worship community of singers and musicians within The Well Church community.

- Attend conference and seminars specific to multi-ethnic worship.

- Attend a weekly staff meeting.

- Assist in planning, implementing and leading worship for special events outside of Sunday worship services.
